In 5B we have spent the last two weeks learning all about farm animals and the origins of certain  foods, such as milk and eggs, that come to us from the farm. To help us in our journey of discovery we had a class visit from two slightly adolescent chicks! A big thank you to Violeta, mother of Jaime Sanchez 5° Primaria, for introducing us to her chickens. We then closed off the week with a simulation of milking our class cow, Daisy, and a discussion about the journey of the milk, from the farm to the table.
